THE TYPES OF AIR TRANSPORTATION INSURANCE

    There are two basic kinds of risks in air transportation insurance : air transportation risk and air transportation all risks

    Air transportation risk, take liability to the abandon caused by lightning,, fire, explosion, bad weather,or other calamities, and the all or part loss caused by crash, frivolous, falls or other accidents.

    Air transportation all risks, in addition to including all above of responsibility, but also liability to the all or part loss caused by external reason.

    Besides covering above basic insurances, there are additional insurance.

    The period of air transportation insurance is the " to warehouse", that means it begin at the warehouse or store of POL signed on insurance slip, and conclude on the warehouse or store of POD singed on insurance slip. If it do not store, the period is last until 30 days when the goods unloaded off the plane. If it do not leaving the plane, the period is last until 15 days when the plane arrive the POD, and if the goods transmit, the period is last until 15 days when the plant arrive the POT.
