TEH LARGES RO-RO TERMINAL IN TIANJIN

    According to the Manager of Tianjin Port Ro-Ro Terminal, Tang Xijing, introduce, in the last year, the Tianjin Port has loaded and unloaded vehicles 194 000, and became China's largest import car unloading port. The first 8 months of this year, total amount of vehicle in Tianjin Port has been unloaded more than 167,000,the amount of is expected to reach 250,000 in this year, which take over. 50% of total cars imports.

    Now, the Tianjin Port professional Ro-Ro terminal has only one berth, has throughput capacity of 100,000 cars, and was completed in 2005. This Ro-Ro terminal, started work in today, has has two professional Ro-Ro berth will be completed and put into use in August of next year.
