FOUR LINERS ASSOCIATION RAISE RATES OF FREIGHT

    Organize of Asia and New Zealand discussion freight agreement, in September 15, 2007, for ordinary containers and refrigerated containers, increase 20-foot container freight on 200 dollars, and 40-foot container freight on 400 dollars, from China to New Zealand.

    Organize of Asia and Australia discussion freight agreement, in September 15, 2007, for ordinary containers and refrigerated containers, increase 20-foot container freight on 350 dollars, and 40-foot container freight on 700 dollars, from China to Australia.

    Organize of Asia - South America West Coast liner said that, be the reason of fuel prices increasing, the EFS will adjust from 468 U.S. dollars / TEU to 558 U.S. dollars / standard containers, from September 15, 2007 until September 30, 2007. the next adjustment will be based on August 2007 fuel prices to be done on Oct. 1, 2007. In addition, EFS will follow new mechanism, and the review will be done from per quarter to per month, and the formula of EFS is unchanged.
